Covering an area of 3 acres, Pha Bong hotspring is located about 10 kilometers from Mae Hong Son, along highway 108. The hot spring rim is built of cement, with a pathway around the edge. Pha Bong waterfall (namtok Pha Bong) is 2 kilometers further down highway 108, after Pha Bong Hotspring. The waterfall is most impressive in August and September.
